Our group has been together 10 years this fall. We began with the Epic: The Early Church. We are finding it to be of great value, adding so much to what we don't know and recognize how little we know. Without exception all 49 of us in this study find it compelling. As a result, our group discussions are lively as we learn from Steve Weidenkof and his DVD lectures. This is the first time in the ten years of our study group experience where people have commented on the beauty and information found in the study guides. It's a great foundational study that should be offered at parishes on a continuous basis.

Keep these types of adult studies coming. Our church is losing people from lack of catechism at the pulpit and educational opportunities in the parishes. Studies like Epic and other Ascension Press offerings are reviving and affirming souls hungry for Truth. This is the new evangelization JPII spoke about. People need to know their faith. They leave it because they do not know the treasure they have. Knowledge is power!
